File Types & Design

What file type should I upload?

PDF is recommended for all Prints

Most common file types are PDF, Microsoft Word/Publisher, Images

.pdf
.doc and .docx
.pbt and .pbtx
.jpg and .jpeg
.png

For Microsoft Word/Publisher Documents, it is recommended to save as PDF to avoid text/image movement due to US Letter sizing settings on Windows Operating System and Microsoft Programs.

What else do I need to know about print sizes?

Standard Prints (A4, A5, A3, Photos, Basic Booklets, Posters)

All these print types are printed to "Fit" the "Page Size" selected (Not stretched but kept to ratio).
A white border will appear around the edge of the page.
Trim or registration marks are not removed and will print if included in your artwork.
For full-bleed (edge-to-edge) printing, please order from our Flyers or Brochures section.

Flyers & Brochures

Printed edge-to-edge with no white border.
Artwork must include 3–5 mm bleed on all sides.
Trim and registration marks will be removed during production.

Plan Prints

Printed at actual size to maintain correct scale.
Example: If you order A1 but upload an A4 file, the artwork will be scaled up to A1.

What else do I need to know about designs?

No trim & registration marks: Do not include trim or registration marks in your design work.

High Resolution: Save your design file in its highest resolution to avoid blurry or pixelated prints.

CMYK Colours: Use CMYK colour so your colours don't look different once printed.

Embedded Fonts: Embed your fonts so they don't change or look different once printed.
